HATHOR: Goddess of Beauty and Sexuality, Egypt

Hathor, as Mother of Light, appears in the first act of creation. She radiates from the center of the sun. In her sacred form as Great Mother Cow, her pillard legs fix the four directions, holding fast the ordered cosmos.

She embraces women in all life’s stages, celebrating joy and pleasure, song and dance, beauty, romance, dalliance and love under the shading branches of the sycamore tree.

Her friendly help protects loved ones, even after death.

“I spent most of my life striving to become someone
other than my true self that I forgot to pay homage to the qualities that makes me a woman…femininity/sexuality/beauty and love…
