HECATE: Goddess of Crossroads, Greece

Hecate of the dark moon, was revered by Zeus above all others and he blessed her share of the earth, the sea, the underworld, and the starry sky. She traveled night’s pathways with swarms of ghosts following in her wake.

Three-fold Hecate; three torches illumine things barely visible, three roads uncertain. With rites performed at night in a magic circle of stones, Hecate grants gifts of visions, inspiration and understanding.

“...A quiet recognition of Hecate in me; a welcoming of the crone; being at a crossroads; past…present…future…a circle, a whole…to embrace the circle…to heal wounds… .”
